Russian Invasion of Ukraine Spikes Oil to $110/Barrel, Europe TTF Prices 60%, & Aids US Gas Gains

Wednesday, March 2: US nat gas prices are higher overnight and again attributed to further spiking oil prices, highlighted by WTI prices currently trading near $110/barrel. What’s also aiding gains are Dutch TTF prices currently trading a massive 30% higher so far today after closing more than 20% higher yesterday. It likely helps US weather pattern for the 11-15 day period are to the bullish/colder side, although seemingly much less important compared to major geopolitical/war issues impacting global oil and gas prices. Will US prices continue to gain this week on the continued invasion by Russia or will US weather patterns again become more important?
