Wednesday:  We expect another volatile session due to the morning EIA weekly storage report and as major players position for the long Thanksgiving/Black Friday Holiday weekend. Most surveys are at +1 to -1 Bcf for the EIA report, lighter than the 5-year average of -30 Bcf. It was warmer vs normal over the eastern 2/3 of the US, while cool over the West. We expect a draw of -7-8 Bcf due to greater HDDs week over week. If we miss, it would be due to strong wind energy generation.

This Weeks Nat Gas Demand

Nov 27-Dec 3:  A frosty cold shot continues over the Midwest w/highs of 10s to 30s. The West and New England will be mild w/highs of 40s-50s as weather systems bring rain/snow. It will be nice over Texas, the South, and much of the East today w/highs of mid-50s to 80s due to high pressure. However, frosty air over the Midwest will advance south and east Thursday through mid-next week w/highs of 10s-30s for stronger demand.  Overall, moderate demand today, then High late in the week through early next week.

Nov 27:  Today’s EIA weekly nat gas storage report printed a draw of -2 Bcf, slightly larger than market expectations of 0 Bcf, while decently lighter than the 5-year average draw of -30 Bcf.  The draw increased surpluses to +267 Bcf and decreased supplies from 3,969 Bcf to 3,967 Bcf.
